LOS ANGELES – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District awarded a $6.4 million contract to Genesis Construction, a Hemet, California-based firm, to construct two wells for the South Perris Water Supply Phase II Desalination Project in Riverside County, California.

The project, also known as the Perris II Desalter, consists of the design and construction of a three million gallon-per-day desalination plant as part of Eastern Municipal Water District's Perris Basin Desalination Program.
