LA District mission removes 128 tons floatable debris from SGR
Everything in this pile of floatable debris in the San Gabriel River has the potential to clog downstream trash racks and cause flooding. This heap of debris, seen Feb. 22 near Azusa, California, was removed, contributing to a total of 128 tons of debris removed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District during a weeklong cleanup project.
