USACE LA District marks change of command near historic San Pedro Breakwater

Col. Joshua Bost, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District commander, provides remarks during the July 31 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District change of command ceremony in the Fort MacArthur Community Center at San Pedro, California. Bost begins his tenure as the 65th commander for the Los Angeles District, overseeing a jurisdiction larger than 226,000 square miles, an annual budget of about $750 million and a workforce consisting of about 700 civilian and military personnel.
