LA District mission removes 128 tons floatable debris from SGR
Mounds of floatable debris litter the bed of the San Gabriel River Feb. 22 near Azusa, California. This 50-foot-long line of debris was removed, contributing to a total of 128 tons of debris removed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District during a weeklong cleanup project. Workers had to climb the steep embankment bringing debris up the embankment to dispose of in large dumpsters. (Photo by John Reese, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District)
