LOS ANGELES -- Members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District pause Nov. 7 during the District's Strategic Planning Meeting for a photo with retired Lt. Gen. Robert Van Antwerp, who was LA District commander in the mid 1990s and was the Chief of Engineers from 2007 to 2011. During the three-day event, LA District team members heard from leaders in industry, public service and academia about the aspects of leadership and how they can apply them to their daily work life.
