YUMA PROVING GROUND, Ariz. –Michelle Bannar gives an aerial high five to U.S. Navy Chief Parachute Rigger Justin Hodge, Military Freefall School instructor and assistant wind tunnel manager, as she inaugurates the Master Sgt. George A. Bannar Vertical Wind Tunnel facility following the dedication ceremony held Jan. 24 on Yuma Proving Ground. Members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District, who helped construct the $10 million facility, attended the ceremony for the facility named for Bannar’s husband who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2013.
