YUMA PROVING GROUND, Ariz. – Members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District participated in a dedication ceremony for the Master Sgt. George A. Bannar Vertical Wind Tunnel facility held on Yuma Proving Ground Jan. 24. The new facility, named for Bannar who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2013, will host more than 1,500 students annually and can allow up to eight fully-loaded Soldiers, Sailors, Marines or Airmen to practice their skydiving techniques.
