San Luis Rey River habitat restoration
Tom Keeney, an ecologist for the Corps' Los Angeles District, describes to Col. Kim Colloton the types and purposes of vegetation planted along the San Luis Rey River in Oceanside during an April 9 visit to the site. The restoration project replaces exotics that have reduced or eliminated habitat for native wildlife.
