Clark County in the State of Nevada has requested authorization from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to relocate a segment of the Tropicana Detention Basin Outlet Channel, a federal flood risk minimization channel originally constructed by the Corps in 1999 as part of the Las Vegas Wash and Tributaries Project.
