Public Notices

A public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.  

Public Notices published by the Los Angeles District are posted on these three pages. There are two types of Public Notices; Regulatory and Project Public Notices. Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice. 

Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

SPL-2019-408-2017-046 Environmental Assessment for alteration/modification to Twin Creek Channel, San Bernardino County, California, for the Redlands Passenger Rail Project

The SBCTA is proposing to retrofit the existing Twin Creek Bridge Crossing by replacing the existing bridge superstructure and recoating of the sub-structure, and by reconstructing an existing concrete-drainage pipe and new side drain connection immediately south of the bridge.  The purpose of the project is to provide a cost effective, alternative travel option for communities situated along the Redlands Corridor consistent with SBCTA’s Measure I Strategic Plan, and to maintain the structural integrity of the existing foundation and substructure of the bridge in the city of San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, California.
