Public Notices

A public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.  

Public Notices published by the Los Angeles District are posted on these three pages. There are two types of Public Notices; Regulatory and Project Public Notices. Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice. 

Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

408-SPL-2020-0011 Cucamonga Creek Channel Bridge

San Bernardino County Flood District is proposing to remove the existing Ontario Ranch Road Bridge and construct, operate, and maintain a single-span precast vehicular bridge, a portion of a bike path and tunnel beneath the bridge, one domestic waterline, one recycled waterline, and one storm drain connection to an existing channel stub-out.  Staging of the operation would not require access into the channel, and would occur from existing roadway and adjacent property on each side of the proposed bridge structure.  The Los Angeles District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is preparing an environmental assessment for the requester’s Proposed Action, and is requesting comments pertaining to the Requester’s Proposed Action from federal, state, local agencies, and interested public that would lead to the determination by decision makers on the preparation of a Finding of No Significant Impact or whether an Environmental Impact Statement would be required.
