In your own words, what is your job? What do you do?
I provide expert Real Estate advice to Corps facilities users. I administer district management and real property land leases for military facilities projects in Southern California with a special emphasis on leasehold actions for the Armed Forces Recruiting Station Program.
What do you love about your job?
Starting a project from the beginning and seeing the final product.
Any special moments/memories about your job you'd like to share?
During a negotiation stage with a leaser, they agreed to enter a lease and pay for a building modification, at no cost to the Government, which ultimately provided a great opportunity for our recruiting station customer who was in desperate need to relocate.
My job as a Realty Specialist enables me to help with the recruiting program, as I provide the Armed Forces with facilities to recruit and bring in our Nation’s defenders. As a direct result, the recruiters are provided with a facility from which they can work to attract the next warrior.
