Steps for Project Initiation

  1. A letter requesting assistance under the 595 Program must be submitted by the Sponsor addressed to the Commander of the Los Angeles District.  The letter must include the nature of the water related project and background information.  595 Program Example Letter of Assistance 
  2. If a project is deemed eligible, the Program Manager will coordinate with the Sponsor to complete a Project Partnership Agreement (PPA) package.  The PPA package must include a model agreement, project scope, cost allocation table, checklist and certified certificates (lobbying and authority certificates).
