LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION:
The Project area is located approximately 65 miles northwest of Los Angeles in Ventura County. Project consists of deepening the inner harbor from 35’MLLW to 40’MLLW. Deepening the harbor will accommodate Panama-sized vessels, which are currently unable to load to their maximum capacity. Substantial savings in transportation costs will be realized by deepening the harbor. The Project is funded under the Continuing Authorities Program (CAP) Section 107.

AUTHORIZATION: Section 208 of Flood Control Act 1965
