LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION:
The Santa Clara River watershed is approximately 1,610 square miles and encompasses portions of Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.       The study addresses problems and needs associated with flood risk management. The key work products are a suite of models for hydrologic, hydraulic, and sediment conditions within this watershed.

AUTHORIZATION: Resolution by the Committee on Public Works, June 18, 1963; Public Law 406, 75th Congress, approved August 28, 1937.

ACTIVITIES FOR FY 2023: Closeout study

FY 2024 PLANNED ACCOMPLISHMENTS: None

ISSUES AND OTHER INFORMATION: This study was intended to establish baseline models for future watershed analysis. The hydrology and hydraulic models have been completed, but the sediment model has not been done due to a lack of funding.
