Public Notices

A public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.  

Public Notices published by the Los Angeles District are posted on these three pages. There are two types of Public Notices; Regulatory and Project Public Notices. Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice. 

Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

SPL-2024-0624-NLH- Santa Ana River Trail - Phase 3B - Draft EA

This draft Environmental Assessment (EA) has been prepared by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) to evaluate the potential impacts associated with the Corps permitting Riverside County Parks and Open Space District to construct, operate and maintain Phase 3B of Santa Ana River Trail. The Phase 3B portion of the trail by easement is located on the federal Prado Flood Control Basin property in Riverside County, California. The Corps coordinated with Riverside County to incorporate the trail design into the upcoming reconfiguration of the Prado Dam Spillway. Comments may be submitted June 25th through Aug. 19th, 2024. Comments should be as specific as possible and address the analysis of potential environmental impacts.
