Welcome to the Los Angeles District’s Office of Small Business. We assist firms in doing business with the government to ensure small businesses have access to L.A. District contracts. We strive to provide you with the most current small business initiatives and project status.
The Army Corps of Engineers fully supports the government policy of placing a fair proportion of the Corps’ contracts for supplies, design, engineering, construction and support services with qualified small businesses as prime and subcontractors. We consider small business to be the heart of the U.S. economy and a vital part of the Corps’ procurement process. The Small Business Program Office for the Los Angeles District is here to “aid, counsel, assist and protect, insofar as is possible, the interests of small business concerns in order to preserve free competitive enterprise, to ensure that a fair proportion of the total purchases and contracts or subcontracts for property and services for the Government be placed with small business enterprises.”
