    Division leaders tour Tijuana River Valley

    Los Angeles District kicked off Regional Meetings Week at the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve on July 17, hosting senior leaders from throughout the South Pacific Division on a visit to Corps projects along the nation’s border with Mexico.
  • RI/FS underway at Sahuarita Air Force Range

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District began a remedial investigation and feasibility study July 13 at the former Sahuarita Air Force Range in Pima County, Arizona. SAFR is a Formerly Used Defense Site of approximately 27,000 acres. Airmen from Davis-Monthan in Tucson used the site from 1943 to 1958 for bombing and gunnery training.
  • Workshops provide guidance for Prado Basin Master Plan update

    The Los Angeles District conducted two public workshops with local government agencies, residents and stakeholders on July 13 here at the Eastvale Community Center in order to seek input on existing and future land uses within the Prado Dam basin in support of the Master Plan update.
