Members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District participated in the 56th Torrance Armed Forces Day Parade with the Emergency Command and Control Vehicle, Bobber, the District leaders and the safety vehicle wrapped in Bobber colors!

Bobber walk and stopped to visit several on-lookers at the parade May 17. While Bobber was joined by several of the assigned personnel and most of the leaders, each of the parade the on-lookers was reminded of the Corps', District and Bobber's mission by an annoucer on every block of the route.

The City of Torrance will continue its long-standing tradition in its 56th consecutive year of hosting an Armed Forces Day Celebration and Parade to honor the sacrifices of our nation's military. This year, the City will once again honor the men and women of our nation's military with a three-day celebration that will begin on Friday, May 15, and continue through Sunday, May 18. The Parade highlight will be on Saturday, May 16, and this year's honored branch is the United States Coast Guard. The City of Torrance is proud to help honor and thank the men and women of our nation's Armed Forces
