Department of Veterans Affairs officials celebrated the opening of two mental health facilities with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 28 at the Tibor Rubin Veterans Affairs Medical Center campus in Long Beach, California.
The mental health buildings – constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Los Angeles District and its contractors – include an 80,000-square-foot outpatient facility and a 40-bed, 82,000-square-foot inpatient facility.
