    Taylor Brown, a student trainee with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District, discovered career opportunities early on in construction engineering as the daughter of an electrician. Additionally, several members of her family on her mother’s side also work in construction, she said, which piqued her interest in the field.

Webb School of Construction at Arizona State University here April 15. The day featured the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between SPD, LA District and ASU that emphasizes the importance of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Kimberly Colloton signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the School of Sustainable Engineering and Built Environment and the Del E. Webb School of Construction at Arizona State University here April 15.
