Alamo Dam Water Control Plan Scoping Meeting

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District will host a public scoping meeting to obtain input on updating the Alamo Dam Water Control Plan. 

The meeting will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. June 14 at the Cesar Chavez Library, 3635 W. Baseline Rd., Phoenix, Arizona. 

The Alamo Dam Water Control Plan is the guiding document on how water is held and released from Alamo Lake. 

The Corps is soliciting comments from public, federal, state and local agencies, as well as Native American tribes and other interested parties for consideration and evaluation. 

The scoping meeting will be conducted as an open house. Interested parties can arrive at any time during the open house to review informational posters, talk with Corps’ staff and provide written comments.  

Those who are unable to attend may submit comments on the proposed action, alternatives that should be considered, issues, concerns and opportunities to AlamoDamSPL@usace.army.mil using the subject line: Water Control Plan Update Scoping Comment.
