The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District began construction of the Thorpe Road bridge over the Rio de Flag culvert June 11.
The bridge, designed by the city, will ensure residents can transit North Thorpe Road and allow the wash beneath the bridge to safely convey water flows through the city.
