The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will have public meetings to discuss the Prado Basin Ecosystem Restoration and Water Conservation Study.

The meetings are scheduled for March 7, at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) at the Prado Dam Resident Office visitor center, 2493 Pomona-Rincon Road, Corona, California 92880.

Col. Aaron Barta, commander of the Corps' Los Angeles District and project representatives will be available during the meetings to provide information about the study.

The Corps has completed a Draft Feasibility Report and Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report for the Prado Basin Ecosystem Restoration and Water Conservation Integrated Feasibility Study.  The Prado Basin study area, which includes a portion of the Santa Ana River downstream of the Prado Basin reservoir, encompasses portions of Riverside County, San Bernardino County and Orange County, California.  The Corps Los Angeles District is the lead Federal Agency and the Orange County Water District is the lead State Agency for this study.  The Draft FR/EIS/EIR presents the plan formulation undertaken to develop feasible alternatives and also assesses the potential environmental impacts associated with implementation of the proposed project alternatives.

The Draft FR/EIS/EIR is available for review and may be downloaded as a PDF document from the following location:
