  • Corps to host public meetings about Westminster Flood Risk Management Study

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will have two public meetings in November to discuss the Westminster, East Garden Grove, California, Flood Risk Management Study. The meetings are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at Westminster Civic Center, 8200 Westminster Blvd., Westminster, and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at Meadowlark Golf Club, 16782 Graham St., Huntington Beach.
  • Corps to begin dredging at Oceanside Harbor

    The Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District plans to dredge Oceanside Harbor this fall. Manson Construction, the Corps’ contractor, will begin the work in October after environmental restrictions – which include dredging during the California least tern nesting season – have ended.
  • Corps signs design agreement with city for LA River Ecosystem Restoration project

    LOS ANGELES – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District signed a design agreement to move forward with the LA River Ecosystem Restoration project at a recent meeting with city officials.
