    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will hold a public meeting Monday, April 30, to provide information about the proposed Santa Ana River Marsh dredging project, located near the mouth of the Santa Ana River in Newport Beach.

  • Corps Issues Permit Decision For Newhall Ranch Resource Management And Development Plan

    LOS ANGELES – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District reached a decision on the proposed Newhall Ranch Resource Management and Development Plan, which includes substantial avoidance and minimization of impacts to aquatic resources throughout the project area located in northern Los Angeles County. The District’s Regulatory Program completed a Section 404, Clean Water Act permit decision and issued a provisional permit to the Newhall Land and Farming Company Aug. 31 for the Newhall Ranch RMDP.

  • Army Corps Makes Permit Decision For San Pedro Waterfront Project

    LOS ANGELES – Regulators from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District granted a permit May 11 to the Port of Los Angeles for the Port’s proposed San Pedro Waterfront Project, a 400-acre shoreline redevelopment project primarily along the west side of the Main Channel from the Vincent Thomas Bridge to the Outer Harbor at Cabrillo Beach adjacent to the San Pedro Breakwater.
